The Neo-Anarchists in Seattle are a rag-tag bunch, often full of corp-hating deckers, downtrodden metahumans, and college kids who may have gotten a little too bored with their studies. The particular cell Detective Yorke wants the team to investigate is one in Auburn, led by a man known as Paris. All that’s given is his physical description, a bar which they’re known to regularly visit (Casey’s), and that they’ve likely been smuggling in additional supplies from unknown sources that KE is unable to actually track and get a hold of.
Paris himself leads a small group of about twenty neo-anarchists, stocked out with a variety of people who, despite being a bit inexperienced and rough around the edges, have some actual talent. Originally a neo-anarchist who helped fight to establish the Free City of Berlin, he found himself on the run after the corps re-invaded the city, putting it back under their control. He bounced around Europe for a little while, before coming to North America and making his new home in Seattle.
Him and his group have been planning an attack to “get back” at one of the corps in the region, the one in particular being the lofty goal of attacking the Federated Boeing Auburn Facility. They intend to sneak in during one of the usual tours of the facility, manipulate their scanning devices to slip in one team posing as tourists with concealed explosive devices, while a second team who are using spoofed maintenance team ID tags sneak in weapons in a shipment they’re pretending to deliver. The plan, despite the Federated Boeing’s tight security, is actually pretty clever and it seems Paris both knows his shit, and also has the equipment to back it up, and the plan is likely to succeed unless something happens to throw a wrench into the plans.
